Your Singapore Gateway to Pure Snowboard Coaching Across China’s Best Powder

OUR STORY

Every run, a new discovery

After retiring from a fulfilling career as an internal auditor in the financial sector, I finally had the time to dedicate to a cause close to my heart: supporting children’s education — from those with Special Educational Needs to young learners in rural communities and underserved regions around the world.

What I didn’t expect was that this new chapter would lead me all the way to the snow-capped mountains of China.

A LEAP OF FAITH

The spark came during a Silk Road holiday to Kashgar, where I was captivated by the breathtaking beauty and vibrant culture of Xinjiang. Encouraged by a friend to experience the region’s legendary winter, I took a leap of faith.

Having dabbled in snowboarding years ago, I returned to the snow with a clear goal: to truly learn. I downloaded Xiaohongshu, connected with a dedicated local coach, and committed to the process. Over ten unforgettable days, I fell completely in love with the sport.

Embracing this new challenge at 60 reminded me of the pure joy of learning — proof that age is never a barrier to chasing fresh passions.

OUR MISSION

Unlock the Slopes, Unlock Yourself

At 43.1 Adventures, our mission is to open the mountains to everyone who dreams of riding them.

We believe snowboarding is more than a sport — it’s a journey of freedom, discovery, and joy.

By creating accessible pathways into Asia’s winter playgrounds, we aim to inspire all riders to embrace new challenges, and write their own mountain stories.

OUR COACHING PHILOSOPHY

Ride Smart, Ride Safe

We believe that lasting progression comes from understanding how to ride with confidence, control, and awareness. Every lesson is designed to build strong technical foundations while helping riders make smart decisions on the mountain.

Through professional coaching, structured progression, and a supportive learning environment, we help riders develop the skills to navigate terrain safely, ride efficiently, and continuously improve. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced snowboarder, our focus remains the same: helping you become a more confident, capable, and responsible rider.

Because great snowboarding isn’t about taking unnecessary risks. It’s about having the knowledge, technique, and confidence to enjoy every run to the fullest.
We don’t just teach snowboarding. We help riders develop the skills and mindset to enjoy the mountains for a lifetime.

Patience

Learning on the snow happens at your own pace. We create a zero-pressure environment where you have the time and space to build confidence, try new techniques, and master skills without feeling rushed.

Encouragement

Mountain progression should be empowering. We focus on celebrating every victory—big or small—keeping energy high, building your self-belief, and making sure having fun remains the top priority on every run.

Safety-first

Confidence comes from feeling secure. Safety is integrated into every lesson through sound movement mechanics, terrain awareness, and controlled progression, ensuring you build skills while minimizing risk.

Whether you’re chasing technical excellence or simply looking for the best day on the mountain, our coaching meets you where you are.

OUR ROOTS IN SINGAPORE

Tropical Heart, Winter Soul

43.1 Adventures was founded in Singapore — a tropical home far from the snow, yet close to our hearts. Growing up between Malaysia and Singapore, we wanted to bring the thrill of snowboarding back to fellow tropical adventurers.

Our Singapore base reflects values we carry onto the mountain: clarity, care, and trust. We combine that spirit with the raw joy of Asia’s winter playgrounds, offering personalized coaching experiences that let every rider discover their own rhythm on the slopes.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

They say snowboarding is for the young, but I believe it’s for the young at heart. Discovering this sport at 60 reminded me that it’s never too late to embrace something new. With patience, guidance, and respect for the mountain, the ride can still surprise you — and that joy is what we want to share.
